Bonjour,

j'ai voulu mettre à jour ma dedibox de Jaunty vers Karmic et depuis elle ne boote plus

J'ai souvent un problème similaire avec les mise à jour précédentes mais la modifcation en mode rescue du menu.lst pour y remettre les "/dev/" à la place des uuid à toujours résolu le problème mais ici cela ne fonctionne pas.

Une idée ?

Même problème de mon côté : mise à jour vers Ubuntu 9.10, depuis la Dedibox ne démarre plus, et aucun accès SSH !
Impossible de trouver le fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst en mode Rescue.

Quelqu'un a une idée ? Ca urge !!!

faut monter les partitions pour voir le contenu de ton disk. http://documentation.dedibox.fr/doku.ph … on:rescue2 et si en RAID chrootme.sh
après voir le contenu de ton disk en /mnt/

Tu peux être plus précis : qu'est-ce qu'il faut vérifier une fois les partitions montées ???

Je n'ai aucun soucis pour monter les partitions (disque personnalisé lors de l'installation initiale : sda1 pour /, sda3 pour /home, sda2 pour le swap). Mon problème c'est surtout de savoir qu'est-ce qui bloque le boot, ou le démon SSH. Le ping ne répondant pas, impossible de savoir si le problème vient du boot ou des démons qui ne sont pas activés.
La config de mon pare-feu (UFW) n'a pas été modifiée lors de l'upgrade, donc (en théorie !) le port 22 est resté ouvert.
Quels fichiers de log peuvent me donner des indices ?

Autre question : comment installer un serveur FTP en mode rescue, histoire de pouvoir me connecter et sauvegarder mes données ? Parce que pour le moment la seule solution que j'ai trouvée est de transférer en FTP mes données sur un autre hébergement (en l'occurence les pages persos de Free), mais la commande ftp me répond que l'hôte ftpperso.free.fr n'est pas joignable... grrr

EDIT : précision, je ne suis pas arrivé à installer de serveur FTP car apt-get me sort à chaque fois que certains paquets sont introuvables (ça dépend du serveur que je tente d'installer : mysql pour proftpd, openssl pour vsftpd).

. voir les logs dans genre /var/log range par date et voir les plus nouveaux
. si ping pas au reboot en normal c'est bien un prob dans ta config quelque part. car si en rescue c'est ok donc pas matériel
. possible d'accéder a dedibackup depuis le mode rescue pour faire tes backup avec genre lftp ou ftp

Pour ma part dans le /var/log il n'y a rien depuis le reboot de la mise à jour. Donc j'en déduis que le système ne boot pas du tout.

Le hic 'est que je suis un client de la permiere heure et la fidélité ca ne paye pas chez Dedibox (j'ai une V1 en VIA/C7) donc le kvm est payant si j'ai tout suivi.

Donc s'il n'y pas d'autres solutions, je termine mon backup, je résilie et je vais chez ovh où il y a un vkvm gratos. Je préfère rester chez dédibox mais quand on voit comment on récompense la fidélité ben ça donne pas envie. Si je dois tout réisntallé autant le faire là où les fonctionnalitées sont plus généreuses.

oui sauf que il faut que je backup 150 go de disque dur (et oui il est presque full). Avec une connexion adsl c'est pas super facile avec 500ko down et 90ko up. Il y en a pour des jours.

J'ai bien fais une partition data mais la dernière fois que j'ai reinstallé, l'installeur ne permettait pas de garder les partitions existantes. Cela a-t-il changé ?

Sinon pour le kvm, je veux bien la marche à suivre (ou un lien vers la doc/tuto).

philoufr, merci pour l'histoire du dedibackup. J'étais pas au courant (ça faisait une éternité que j'étais pas allé voir dans ma console d'admin). Le backup est lancé (2-3 gigas, ça devrait être rapide).

Maintenant, ce serait cool que j'aie pas à me retaper l'installation complète du système. Donc, je suis toujours preneur pour une autre solution (enfin si elle arrive dans la journée, sinon dès ce soir je réinstalle tout).

Je viens d'aller faire un tour sur la console est effectivement les serveur en V1/V2 ne sont plus en vente. Pourtant hier c'était toujours le cas avec de la dispo pour l'un des deux. Sinon pour le kvm, la console indique toujours que c'est payant donc je n'ai pas essayé.

philoufr, j'ai finalement tout réinstallé, c'était plus "rapide" que d'essayer de réussir cette migration.

Quant à l'histoire de booter sur un autre kernel, ben il s'est avéré que c'était infaisable : lors de l'upgrade, tous les anciens kernels ont été supprimés !!!!! C'est bien la première fois qu'un upgrade d'Ubuntu me fait ça...

Bref, de mon côté, le problème est réglé : j'attendrai plutôt la version 10.04 LTS avant de refaire une migration.
Bon courage pour ceux qui tentent l'aventure (et faites pas comme moi : pensez à sauvegarder d'abord vos données !).

Si ca peut aider, même symptomes que vous. Après beaucoup de recherche, j'ai diagnostiqué sur ma dédibox que le chargement du module "padlock_sha" faisait merder le boot. Je l'ai blacklisté dans modprobe.d, et depuis je reboot. Je me demande si le padlock des Via C7 merdouille pas avec les noyaux de karmic...

Bonjour,

J'ai pas pensé à venir lire le forum avant de faire ma migration et du coup je me retrouve dans la même galère que vous...je ne peux pas tout réinstaller la configuration serait trop longue à refaire.

J'ai essayé l'astuce de wizz dans blacklist.conf j'ai rajouté blacklist padlock_sha et j'ai reboot mais il semblerait que ça ne marche pas. Est-ce que tu as fait d'autres actions wizz ?

Est-ce que quelqu'un aurait une autre idée sur la question ? J'ai réinstallé grub, j'ai mit /dev/sda2 mais rien n'y fait...

Actuellement je tourne sur un système de secours bricolé histoire de pas avoir une indisponibilité totale...

Problème corrigé en utilisant un noyau officiel de karmic koala (apt-get install linux-server) et la dédibox reboot ! Comme dit wizz les noyaux dedibox ne semblent pas compatibles avec Karmic Koala.
